Web Site: www.ozbooks.com

OzBooks is the best of the Australian online stores in terms of design and information, however the range and pricing can often leave something to be desired.

OzBooks offers a fairly clean, albeit somewhat amatuerish looking site (some of the graphics aren't clear) and the use of the moving notice board on the front page is frustrating and adds to page loading time.

Navigation is very easy, by virtue of the left hand bar that remains with you throughout the site. This allows you search by title, author, keyword or ISBN as well as the option to browse through a number of OzBooks categories.

Searching isn't particularily good. A search for 'Hannibal' placed the novel by Thomas Harris on the 2nd page, depsite the exact title match. In terms of information the description when present are quite lacklustre, although the site does show more information about the book itself.

Pricing is generally 10-15% off the list price, though this occasionally conflicts with some of the other stores. Postage rates are quite good value at $8 for any sized order, and FREE for orders over $100.
