Simple but smart primarily textual design. Random movies appearing down the left hand side is a little annoying. Searching is available from the bottom of each page as well as browse by Genre, New Release or Coming Soon. Information is generally laid out well.

Range

Around 800 titles including all Australian new releases, some music DVDs and some adult (R) rated titles.

Searching

Searching is based only on the first word. eg 'soldier' won't return Universal Soldier. Results are ordered alphabetically which with a larger range of titles might be a problem but isn't in this case.

Information

Full size pictures of the front and back covers are available. The standard view shows a small front cover and a medium back cover. Actors, directors and producers are cross-linked. No description of the titles is provided, although in some instances it is possible to read the descriptin from the back cover of the DVD.

Orders shipped from Sydney, New South Wales
Prices are 10 or 15% off standard retail which is AU $34.95 or $29.95 This makes ozDVDwhs cheaper than the other Australian online DVD stores.
Shipping prices are confusing as the site separately prices the package, handling and the postage but ranges from about $3 for 1 DVD to about $6 for 5 DVDs
